Store Owner Faces Jail Sentence

The owner of a downtown State College store is facing up to 23-and-a-half months in jail for selling synthetic marijuana from his store. According to Statecollege.com, Michael Hultberg pleaded guilty to possession with intent to deliver and possession of paraphernalia with intent to deliver. Hultberg owns Jamaica Junction, located near the intersection of Pugh Street and College Ave.

Task Force Arrests 7 For DUI

7 people were arrested for DUI over the weekend by The Centre County Alcohol Task Force. The agency conducted roving patrols from Friday through Sunday. Additionally, 1 person was arrested for underage drinking and 4 were arrested for disorderly conduct. The Task Force is comprised of officers from Ferguson, Patton and Spring Townships and the State College Borough. 

State College Roadwork

Delays are possible on South Garner Street in State College for the remainder of the week due to road work. Work will take place between Easterly Parkway and Nimitz Avenue from 7:30 am until 4:30 pm. Folks are being asked to use alternate routes.
