A PENN STATE FRESHMAN FROM BOALSBURG WAS FOUND DEAD YESTERDAY MORNING INSIDE A CONSTRUCTION SITE AT THE HUB ROBERSON CENTER ON CAMPUS. ACCORDING TO STATECOLLEGE.COM, OFFICIALS SUSPECT 18-YEAR-OLD JACK CREAN JUMPED OR FELL FROM A CRANE. THE PRELIMINARY AUTOPSY REPORT IS EXPECTED TO BE RELEASED TODAY AND THE TOXICOLOGY REPORT WILL TAKE 4 TO 6 WEEKS.

FATAL CRASHES EARLY SUNDAY IN SOMERSET AND INDIANA COUNTIES. THE CORONER SAYS 23 YEAR OLD CHRISTOPHER MADDY OF CAIRNBROOK WAS KILLED WHEN HIS CAR LEFT MONUMENT ROAD, STRUCK A UTILITY POLE, AND ROLLED OVER IN SHADE TOWNSHIP. 3 PEOPLE WERE HURT IN A D-U-I WRECK IN SOMERSET COUNTY EARLY YESTERDAY. POLICE SAY 24 YEAR OLD JOSEPH HUTCHINSON OF BERLIN LOST CONTROL OF HIS CAR ALONG ROUTE 160 IN BROTHERSVALLEY TOWNSHIP AND STRUCK A DRAINAGE DITCH AND A TREE. HUTCHINSON AND HIS PASSENGERS, 23 YEAR OLD EMMILY NIST AND 29 YEAR OLD JESSE SLEASMAN, BOTH OF BERLIN, WERE TAKEN TO JOHNSTOWN’S CONEMAUGH MEMORIAL MEDICAL CENTER. NONE OF THEM WERE WEARING SEATBELTS.

JURY SELECTION IS SCHEDULED TO BEGIN TODAY IN CAMBRIA COUNTY COURT FOR THE MURDER TRIAL OF 21 YEAR OLD DEMETRIUS GIBSON OF TIRE HILL.
