YOUNG ARTISTS HONORED
The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board’s latest campaign to reduce underage drinking will utilize student-created designs and slogans. 50 winners of the board’s 22nd annual Alcohol Education Poster Contest were honored yesterday in Harrisburg. The P-L-C-B will use designs to create posters, bookmarks and coloring sheets to share with students throughout the state. Officials say a survey indicates almost 7 out of every 10 high school seniors had already taken their first alcoholic drink, a figure they hope to decrease.
